Vote early by mail
Arizona Law has changed. The Permanent Early Voting List (PEVL) is now the AEVL (Active Early Voting List). If you were previously on the PEVL you will be automatically transferred to the AEVL.
To automatically have a ballot mailed to your home for each election, you need to sign up for the Active Early Voting List (AEVL) when you register to vote. If you didn’t make that request when you registered to vote, you can
- update your voter registration My.Arizona.Vote
- call your county recorder (Yavapai County Recorder (928) 771-3244 Coconino County Recorder 928-679-7850)
- click here to print an Active Early Voting List form to mail in.
Beginning in April 2025, voters will be removed from the Active Early Voting List if they haven’t voted using a mail ballot in any of the past two election cycles and have failed to respond to a warning letter. To check if you are on the Active Early Voting List visit My.Arizona.Vote or call your recorder's office.
